Every month we feature a Moving On After Moving In group. These groups are offering friendship, connection, and the path to emotional well-being and spiritual growth for women who have been uprooted by a move.

This group continues to bless newcomers to the Columbus area and Heritage Christian Church. After facilitating many groups, I like to think of the Just Moved study (as we call it at Heritage) as “triage” for those wounded by a move. They come to the class and the immediate wounds are tended to with love, fellowship, and friendship of other newcomers all the while God is tending to the deeper emotional issues that are a result of moving. By the end of the class, everyone is feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to serve our glorious Lord in their new church homes. What a blessing! This class is and continues to be a lifeline to many as they start to “Let Go, Start Over, and Move Ahead as God Mends, Molds, and Matures them.”
