Time to plant and grow with a spring forward makeover!

By Gaye Moore

In an effort to establish roots in my new home, I’m always excited and encouraged in hope to see my new yard spring fourth and flourish! I make sure that I plant trees, shrubs and flowers that make the landscape a beautiful site from my own windows and for my neighbors to view from theirs as well. This is a wonderful therapy for my emotional state of mind. I benefit from the physical exercise while at the same time giving to others.

After a long hard winter with cloudy gray skies your yard can be a source of hope, when perennial color and new life begin to pop out of the ground and bring with them a new found sense of joy for living. After they’ve multiplied, I love to split perennials and give the fruit of my labor to my neighbors for their pleasure and neighborhood beautification; reaping what I’ve sewn in my new surroundings.flower bed
