Do you see Him?

Do you see him?Christ can be seen in all seasons. He comes at Christmas as a baby in a manger, at Easter on the cross as He is crucified, and from the tomb as He is resurrected. He comes to us at all seasons of our life, as well as the seasons of the year- rebirth in the spring, growth in the summer, maturity in the fall, and dormancy in the winter. He proclaims triumph in our lives through each season. Spring will come again, no matter how hard the winter!  Do you see Him?

Christ can be seen in all circumstances. He is with us in victory and in defeat; in joy and in grief. He is with us always, forever, and no matter what-regardless of who we are, what we have, or what we are going through. He gives comfort and peace, safety and security–even sanity, in the chaos of our circumstances. Do you see Him?

Christ came to people in so many different ways during His lifetime. Sometimes He was talkative; other times silent. Sometimes He was very direct as He spoke, other times He spoke in parables. He met with the meek and lowly outcasts; as well as the rich and prosperous. He gently guided, or He prodded with His shepherd’s staff.  Do you see Him?

No matter how He comes to you, respond to Him. Be like Mary, and have a place in your heart for Him. Be like Joseph, and be ready to accept Him. Do you hear Him?  He is calling your name….

Scripture to Remember: …I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10,11

Question to Consider: Have you seen Jesus in your life?  Do you hear Him calling your name?

Prayer: Lord, I want to be like Mary and Joseph. I want to welcome and accept Jesus into my heart. Help me to see Jesus clearly in each season, and in all circumstances of my life. I surrender my all to you, my Lord and Savior. Amen

Thought for the Day: Today I will take time to see God in everything, and listen to His voice.
